Bio
Born September 15, 1997, Christopher McGinnis has already become an exciting pianist/singer/songwriter & entertainer. With deeply rooted musical influences, he began formal piano training at five and has studied piano privately at the Julliard School and continues formal training by some of the top jazz/latin pianists in NYC.
Christopher sites, Michel Camilo, Chick Corea, Vinny Coliuta, Eldar, Zacai Curtis, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Green Day, Johnny Cash, Elton John, Michael Bouble as some of his favorite artists and songwriters.
Christopher performed on the Celebrity Cruise line. He has perfomed at the historic Paramount Theatre in Westchester County. In addition, he has performed at the International Mamapalooza Momedy Comedy Festival, noted jazz club's Fat Cat, the Jazz Standard, Ashford & Simpsons The Sugar Bar in nyc, The Broadway Comedy Club and Madison Square Garden to name a few venues.
Christopher is also a prolific songwriter and has numerous original pop tunes five of which are on his website and are avaiilable on Itunes and amazon. He also composed a song about Oprah which you can see on her site. He landed on the home page of the Nickelodeon Show I - Carly.com performing a wacky upside down latin piano trick.
Christopher was a featured pianist with the Jazz Standard Youth Orchestra in New York City once a month at the Jazz Standard Jazz Club in NYC. No venue is too big for Christopher who played the half-time shows at Madison Square Garden 3 times. He was asked to play with the US Army 42nd Infrantry Band where he performed his Original tune, "The War Song An American Hero". Christopher also played his original war song at the 911 Memorial 10yr anniversary, Veterans Day, and for many Government officials.
Recently top radio personality Bruce Owens of WBNR, WLNA in a LIVE radio interview called Christopher a true piano prodigy and the real life Freddie Highmore, who starred in August Rush, as a young boy who is a musical child prodigy.

Christopher, a hip young actor
Christopher appeared in national network television commercials for JVC camcorders, superfresh and grandparents.com. Noted for his protrayal of young Indiana Jones with Harrison Ford for the crystal skull Papa Johns advertisments. One of his favorite radio campaigns was with Jane Curtis for the council against substance abuse. Subsequently, he was cast in 2 films. Christopher landed a lead in the independent film "Hide and Seek". He was then cast as a supporting actor in the short indie film. "Strawberry-Banana" which won the warner bros film award. Christopher was also cast as the featured pianist for a documentary called Kids Talk Politics and made his TV debut in Law and Order with Jeff Goldblum and Julianne Nicholson. He appeared in an episode of Big Lake on Comedy Central, Electric Company on PBS, The Good Wife on CBS and appearing in the movie Disconnect in 2013.
Continuing to strive for greatness, Christopher constantly exudes all facets of his personality and gives 110% to everything, He is a great athlete and a soulfull, charsimatic personallity who has an insatible appetite for knowledge. Christopher is genuinely entertaining.
